Oliso is proud to support the Navajo Quilt Project from French General! The Navajo Quilt Project aims to gather sewing supplies to donate to the quilters who live in the Navajo Nation so that they can sew in the winter and make beautiful, warm quilts for their families.

The Navajo Quilt Project was created in 2014 by French General and Master Navajo Quilter, Susan Hudson, to help deliver supplies to men and women who have very little access to fabric, batting, sewing machines, scissors and thread. Finished quilts and quilt tops are also gathered to bring the elderlies comfort throughout the year. The quilters and sewers in the Navajo Nation are incredibly thankful to receive gently used and new quilting supplies and quilts.

Thanks to Moda, Windham, Pineapple Fabrics, Oliso and The Grace Company for continuing to send us fabric and supplies that we donate directly to the Navajo Nation.

For more information and to receive an updated list of addresses to send supplies, please write to notions@frenchgeneral.com.

Meet Mother-Daughter Design Team Atenti!

Join mother and daughter design team, Andrea and Gianina, on a journey to discover their irresistible collection of bags and accessories. All products have been lovingly handmade in the United States for over 30 years. Atenti was founded by Andrea in 1990. She was pregnant with Gianina who grew up playing in the Atenti shop surrounded by a sea of color, texture, and materials all the while observing inspiring creative women. Together, they work with materials sourced from U.S. mills and throughout the world.

Atenti's aesthetic is greatly influenced by the vibrancy and spirit of Buenos Aires, Andrea’s hometown. Fresh silhouettes, daring blends of fabrics, and handmade embellishments harmonize to evoke each season’s design moments. Their bags and accessories can be found in over 1000 boutiques and knitting stores throughout the US and Canada.

Each handmade piece is unique and its quality unmatched.
