Ingredients
  1. Carrots, Peeled and Sliced
  2. On a Bias 1 lb
  3. Butter 4 oz
  4. Ginger, Peeled and Minced 1 tbs
  5. Salt 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat water bath to 185F. Refer to Time and Temperature Chart for guidelines.
  2. Combine the carrots, butter, ginger, and salt together in a 1quart Vac Snap Bag. Place in the Frisper.
  3. Hang the bag off of the side of a counter to keep the oil to the bottom of bag when removing air.
  4. Cook for 1 hour.
  5. Remove from the bag and serve immediately or sauté if desired. Alternatively puree for a carrot-ginger soup.
