One item that should be a staple in our pantry is canned fish. It is a healthy alternative to red meat and has a long shelf life. But what do you do with it besides tuna salad? You may already have a favorite fish burger recipe but if you don’t you may like to try our Wild Ocean Burger recipe below. These patties are made with wild-caught canned tuna and salmon and are very easy to put together. The recipe makes 6 servings but you may want to double it and freeze some for several meals. Since these burgers are so high in protein it is a perfect choice to bring to someone they may not be feeling well or you know is unable to cook for themselves.
