The PRO TG1600 Smart Iron comes with an extended 30 minute auto shut-off feature. Since this iron is designed for crafters, it is likely it will be sitting still longer than a typical iron. All other oliso irons have an 8 minute auto shut-off for safety purposes. Additionally, if any oliso iron happens to fall over, it will auto shut-off in 30 seconds, making oliso the safest iron for families with children or pets.
