Gees Bend Quilt Retreat

Hello,

I just returned from visiting the Gees Bend Quilting Retreat in Raymond, Mississippi, hosted by Mary Ann and China Pettway. It was truly an amazing experience to watch, learn, and be guided by these talented women. Not to mention their very moving songs.

All the attendees were kind, generous, and sharing, creating a great atmosphere.

I actually made two quilt tops, going through over 500 yards of thread on my machine! A badge of honor for me!

We are so proud to have provided irons for the retreats and highly recommend attending one of their regularly scheduled retreats if you can.
